Siobahn Harper MBA, BSN, RN

Health Committee/ Research Advisor

I grew up in the Shaker Heights community and moved back about a decade ago. I love staying active in the community. With my child being a part of the Shaker School District, I became very interested in the S.A.M.S organization.

I am in support of an organization that promotes the well- being of our children such as S.A.M.S.  I have been a nurse for quite some time. I plan to use my personal and professional interests to promote health in our community by  serving on the SAMS Health Committee.

Kimberly Harris, S.A.MS. Founder

Making a change in your community in my opinion is not a choice its a privilege. Working together with people in the community to help better the community and enhance lives is a  wonderful opportunity that S.A.M.S is offering.

I have three sons one is a Shaker Alumni and two are in Shaker Elementary Schools.  I look forward to S.A.M.S  doing great things that will make positive long lasting impact in our community.

S.A.M.S Leadership works together to build a community

S.A.M.S supports YOU and the community of Shaker Heights. Sometimes just having people around you that have similar experiences and perspectives helps. In some cases there are  single mothers, busy mothers, who depend on  grandparents and friends to help with the raising of children or needing help with the supervision of children due to work hours or shifts. S.A.M.S wants to make sure that everyone feels that they are "in the loop"  and are aware of resources that exist in the community.
S.A.M.S recognizes that these issues are reality for many African American mothers and we want to help by creating a circle of support. We want to support you as a mother and help you connect with resources that will best support the success of your child and you.
Lets come together from all levels and build a community of support. Working together is success!
